Yesterday was my last day at school (as a student) - forever. Kind of crazy when you think about it. I was happy to have spent it with 60-or-so of the sickest students anybody could ask for. My two classes:
I have about 100 more pictures of me with students, but these will do for now.
I leave for London (England) tomorrow to meet my mom.

Day Trip to Thailand
I usually don't write a lot when I post here. I figure most people probably don't want to read it - and they would rather just see a picture and get on with their lives. This past weekend was pretty sick, though. So I have a little bit more to write.
I went to a little island called Langkawi in the northern part of Malaysia this past weekend. We (Sarah, Jamie and I) were only there for two days. On the first day, while the girls chose to stay on the island to do some stuff, I figured it only made sense to head over to Thailand for the day.
I took some random bus in Langkawi, which took me to the ferry port. Once I figured that out, I was on the 1 hour ferry over to Thailand. I got there, and found a ride into the nearest town. The "ride" I found was essentially the back of a pick-up truck filled with people, including three other white dudes. I was trying my best to take a picture that showed how incredibly packed it was, but nothing worked. This was the best I could do:
I had my head out of the side most of the time. Both because I couldn't really fit it inside the truck, and because I wanted the breeze. There was a "roof," but it was more of a tarp covering some metal posts.
Once in the town of Satun, I just walked around by myself for a few hours. I found this really cool market that I hung out in for a bit. Had a traditional Thai meal there too, which I definitely felt today when I went to the bathroom.
I also got another picture of me infront of another stop-sign. In the background they were working on building a Thai Buddhist Temple.... pretty sick.
A few hours later I jumped on the back of some guys motor cycle to get back to the ferry... took the ferry back, and that was it. One day in Thailand.

Another weekend in Kuala Lumpur
Haven't been able to post anything in a while. Been busy with school/moving around a lot, plus I don't have the internet very often.
I went to the city (Kuala Lumpur) again this past weekend. Managed to catch the sunset of the Petronas Towers from the 35th floor of an adjacent building.
Also took the bus to a place called the "Batu Caves." Lots of steps. Lots of monkeys. Even more Indian people. Pretty sick, though.

Crazy Arcade in Singapore
I've been back from Singapore for a few days now, but I completely forgot about this. While I was by myself, I stumbled across a good old-fashioned Asian arcade. Everybody in the whole placed amazed me at how good they were at their specific game. None more than these two guys; playing some sort of Guitar-Hero/DDR game, but for DJs.

Sunset in Singapore
Every once and a while I'll think to myself: "Wow, I can't believe I'm here right now." This happened to me again a few nights ago, as Jamie and Sarah were off at a night Safari, I decided to lay low and hang out by myself. During this time, I managed to catch the sunset at the Singapore Harbor. The picture with the kid is one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken.

Amazing Students
Been in Malaysia for about 4 days now. Yesterday I went on a two-day field trip with some of the students and staff. We went to the state of Malaka, which is a few states over or something.
Some of the most amazing students I've ever met in my entire life (from all over the world).
